Digitising the archives of the western chiefdoms

The Bamileke chiefdoms hold treasures: registers, royal correspondence, old photographs, ritual objects. Fragile, these archives are threatened by humidity, insects and time.

This campaign equips the community museums of the Route of Chiefdoms with digitisation gear and trains local youth in conservation, to preserve and open up this living memory.
