Manu Dibango

Emmanuel “Manu” Dibango is a legend of world music. Born in Douala, the saxophonist and vibraphonist blended Cameroonian makossa, jazz and funk.

His track “Soul Makossa” (1972) made music history and inspired generations of artists worldwide. A tireless ambassador of African cultures, he embodies Cameroon's global reach.
