Chefferie de Bafut

Residence of the Fon of Bafut, the palace is one of the best-preserved royal compounds of the Grassfields, with its thatched Achum shrine, traditional houses and museum.

On UNESCO's tentative list, it comes alive every December with the great annual festival of royal dances.
