About this place
Sign in to save your favouritesA world rarity: the Lobé river plunges directly into the Atlantic Ocean in a series of cascades, a few kilometres from Kribi. The site, on UNESCO's tentative list, is also a ritual place for the Batanga and pygmy communities.
By dugout canoe, you can travel upriver to Bagyeli camps for a respectful encounter with the forest's first inhabitants.
